E-commerce and loyalty
Fascar e-commerce and club
A loyalty club only builds loyalty when it talks to the store.
Client from 2013 to 2024
The challenge
From 2013 to 2024, Media Clorians worked with Fascar, a traditional footwear brand, on three fronts: Fascar Club, the brand's loyalty program; the online store, from 2015 to 2019, on the B-Seller and VTEX platforms; and Google Ads, from 2015 to 2017.
All of it was new to the brand. The first request was a loyalty club. From the first conversation, we saw that the club would be a system: sign-up, credits with an expiry date, discounts at partner stores and a balance that had to work on the website and in the physical stores, through integrations and APIs.
What we did
We built the Fascar Club website, where customers sign up, check their credits and see what is about to expire, and connected it to the online store so that accumulated credit turned into a discount on the next purchase. The same website brought the partnerships together, with discounts at partner stores.
In 2015, Fascar also brought us into the online store. We designed the e-commerce site on B-Seller and, over the course of the partnership, the store went through three visual overhauls, always within each platform's standards. We handled the Criteo integrations and the major campaigns, with Black Friday leading the way. We also monitored the store: failures, attack attempts, traffic volume during Black Friday peaks and the correct use of club credits.
On Instagram, we produced the posts from the early days of the brand's profile: products, dates and promotions. From 2015 to 2017, we created and managed the Google Ads campaigns.
The heaviest work was in the integrations. Each company involved had its own standards, and we accepted adapting the club to them with every change. The migration from B-Seller to VTEX was the tensest moment: it was not in the plan, the deadline was tight and it coincided with the change of Fascar's logo. The store changed platform and identity at the same time, and the club had to be integrated again on the other side.
Results
The online store went through three visual overhauls and a platform change, and the club kept pace with each of them: credit earned on one purchase kept turning into a discount on the next, online and in the stores. The online store stayed with us until 2019, and Fascar Club until 2024.
